We serve a merciful God. What have you done in your past that Satan and his natural and spiritual cohorts keeps reminding you about and attempt to make you feel guilty?
Well the Bible says there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus….(Romans 8:1-3) NO MEANS NO! You have been acquitted, declared free to leave the realm of bondage “prison cell” of the kingdom of darkness which a “guilty” verdict put you in. You are more than a conqueror through him who loves you, Jesus (Romans 8:37). The Lord says He remembers your sins no more for He has completely blotted them out (erased, deleted, cancelled…Isa. 43:25)
He loves you as much as He loved Israel:
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry. (Jer. 31:3-4)
Remember you were not only acquitted by Jesus’ death on the cross to be saved, but our God of second chances started “again” to “build” (Jer. 31:4) you up daily through Christ (Isaiah 61: breaking strongholds, sanctification…) to give you a hope and a future so that you will always “go forth in merriment” for in His presence is fullness of joy… (Psalm 16:11)
His ultimate plan is that as a potter He would remold you so that you will be who He predestined you to be as Christ Jesus, His workmanship.
So don’t listen to Satan’s lies or discouraging voices about your identity or capability for you are who God says you are and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil 4:13). Determine to seek God in prayer and search His Word daily so that you will not only know how worthy you are to Him, but that knowledge will always be at the forefront of your mind as a weapon against the enemy’s attacks.
Father, we thank you for blotting out all our sins through Christ Jesus and restoring our identity and destiny in you. Teach us to fix our gaze on you daily so that we will live in your truth according to your word. In Jesus name, Amen.
You are blessed, determine to stay blessed!
