Waiting for a Prayer Call to be answered?

“Dialling numbers”: Ask, Decree/Declare & Believe While Living obediently.

What are you desiring from God? Jesus said “whatever you ask in my name I will do it” (John 14:13-14)

As long as God is your LORD, that promise holds true, so ASK.
Don’t ask amiss or half heartedly saying “I will pray but “Que serra, serra” (French for whatever will be, will be) or “If God feels like it, He will answer… ” or “Oh am not sure He will give it, but let me ask anyway!”

No! Ask with the confidence that you will receive it. A double minded person cannot receive anything from God.

As long as what you are asking is in line with what God through His Word says you are entitled to, then ask with confidence knowing you will receive it.

“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24 NLT).

Remember though that God, being sovereign and the controller of your life and destiny may not answer your prayers in the way you expect or prefer. This is true even if they are based on His will according to the written or the prophetic word. However when God does answer, whatever the answer may look like, you will know God is the source and give Him thanks for it.

As our heart condition before Him is of great importance, God would expect us to live in holiness as best as we can according to His Word as we seek to receive answers to our prayers.

He may also not answer it in the timing you want it to happen. But as the saying goes “God is never late, He is always on time”. His timing may appear to be delay but God is putting certain things in place, preparing you and the circumstances associated with the outcome. Therefore brethren let us exercise the spiritual fruit of patience which is indeed a God given virtue.

As long as you know that you have entitlement to what you are praying for, as a covenanted child of God, also remember that you have the authority through Christ Jesus to engage in spiritual warfare prayers and make decrees and declarations according to the written and personal prophetic word.

Spiritual warfare prayers involve the relentless pursuit of God in prayer for all that He had for you while declaring openly and in confrontation to natural and spiritual enemies that they have no power or authority over your life. This is because you are an anointed covenanted child of God.

“19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”(Luke 10:19 KJV)

“27Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.28Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways” (Joel 22:27-28 KJV)

I have many testimonies of answered prayers; I first of all gain insight into what God wants for me, pray about it and then declare it by faith until I see it come to pass.

One example is how I used to take my prophetic word about the call of God on my life to write many books before the LORD many times declaring and decree that as it is a prophetic of God concerning my destiny, I trust Him to bring it to pass. It was a personal word I received in 1994, affirmed by a prophet who did not know me at Christian International Ministries conference in February 2000.

I started of with a bimonthly newsletter in 2015, then writing in blogs (websites) and then I published my first book (Bible study & meditation), which I started in 2014, in April this year. I am preparing to release two more books (poetry) for sale in July.

Brethren God knows what He has in store for you, through abiding in Him and His Word, you are sure to know what they are so that you can partner with Him for them to manifest.

Prayer is key, prayer is powerful, but the fuel that results in prayers being heard or rising up as “flames with smoke” that is pleasing incense unto God is obedience to God and His Word.

Always remember that you are more than a conqueror through him (Jesus) who loves you (Romans 8:37) and God is always eager to answer your prayer calls (Jer. 33:3). All you need to do is to “dial the right numbers” according to His Word.
You are blessed, determine to stay blessed!

Prophetic prayers for and declarations over the nation & its people.

(Written/Prayed on UK Referendum day 23/06/2016 at 2:30pm)

Based on Psalm 85/Isaiah 52:10-12/2 Corinth.6:14-18).

As your salvation is upon those who fear you, so through them show your mercy and glory upon the land. (Vs 9). Ignite us with your fire! fire burn! Set us on fire for the mission, revive us by the flames of your Spirit Lord!
Revive us again as in the days of old, our Lord and our God!
Revive us again Lord!
Look on our land favourably,
forgive our iniquities
show us your mercy. (Ps.85:1-6)

Father God I decree and declare peace over your people in this land. I will hear what you speak and I shall speak it over the nation.
We your people come in agreement with you merciful God, redeemer in all the earth. I praise you for you are the God of our salvation. (Ps.85: 7-8).

Father God I call forth your mercy, your truth, righteousness and peace upon the land as according to your will (Ps.85:10).

Truth, it is time for your manifestation upon the land, come forth! Righteousness rain down, rain from He who reigns, from the Son of His Right! We need your manifestation in all the earth (Psalm 85:10-13).

God has stretched forth His Holy Arm before the people;
I speak to the land! And it’s people! I speak to the land what Lord speaks! come out from amongst them:

The called of God, the Chosen, heirs of salvation.
Those made ready to be heirs
Those positioned to be heirs
Those called, He calls to you.
Hear what the Lord says:

“Come out, come out from among them! People Depart! Depart! from all uncleanliness, discard the idols of wealth, self and witchcraft, end the discord and contention.
Hear the Lord and enter into the place of greater heights and deeper depths in Him. A place of revelation access to mysteries Unknown. He has made a way! (Isaiah 52:10-12 /2 Corinth. 6:14-18).

I speak to the blood thirsty land, your fortunes, destiny has changed! Time for a shift, hear your God! Obey your maker and master: Give up those in fetters and chains! For it is their time of their Jubilation and freedom and it is time for yours: Receive your redemption oh people, oh nation!

UK’S REFERENDUM DAY 23/06/2016 REFLECTION & PRAYER

At this crucial time of the referendum as to whether the UK should stay as part of the European Union or not, as an intercessor, I bring the nation before God asking Him for what is best for the nation and that may His will be done according to His great mercy.

Though He is not acknowledged openly on the whole for key decision making in the arenas of government (although there are indeed true Christians working there I know) His intercessors do acknowledge God as the LORD who reigns over the nation and we seek His favour and what is ultimately good according to His will for the nation.

Merciful & Gracious Father,
We ask that you would remember the faithful forefathers/ancestors of this nation who served you in Spirit and in Truth and those who are still doing so and intervene for the good of the nation. You alone know what is best for the UK and we have no one to turn to or depend on but you, our faithful God.

We also humbly ask that you would take complete charge of every aspect of the referendum as only you can, Almighty, Sovereign God.
Having prayed we trust that whatever the outcome you have allowed it and give you praise in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

The LORD has often led me to Psalm 85 to use as an intercessory prayer for the United Kingdom:

Chapter 85 (KJV)

1LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.2Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. 3Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger. 4Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?6Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? 7Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. 8I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.9Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other]. 11Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. 12Yea, the LORD shall give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase. 13Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.

Watchman, what do you see?

I see…Babylon is fallen, is fallen!

Since coming to the UK over 10 years ago, as the years have passed there has been an increase in prayer, praise/worship gatherings all over the UK, small and large. No doubt this is God’s appointed time (post 2000) of preparation of an outpouring never seen before in the “final hour” before the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Multitudes of “fire stations” of the Holy Spirit are scattered across the nation. As a “Mother nation” of nations so too this has an influence on races therein and their extended families across the globe.

“4My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.5Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, [and] anoint the shield. 6For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.

7And he saw a chariot [with] a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, [and] a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed: 8And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:9And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, [with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.” (Isaiah 21:4-9 KJV).

I see an army of God, great multitudes, not only in the UK but elsewhere contending day and night in holy indignation as warriors for God’s cause armed with His strength, they are His battle axe, watching, on their knees, lying on their faces weeping and lamenting for change, crying for change, a return of holiness and the fear of the LORD in His House, in the land, it’s political arena, government.
They refuse to walk by sight and only see as God sees, fixing the heart and mind on Him through His Word. Full of His Spirit and proclaiming the power in the blood of Jesus, the finished work on Calvary they are God’s end time Army, at their advance demons flee and take cover!

As I watch I see the enemies of God unable to build upon their foundations of old which have either broken or are unable to stay firm due to relentless spiritual warfare of God’s intercessors raised across the land.

The established territorial enclaves of spiritual powers where they taunted God’s people & the nation at large and erected impenetrable (what they thought was as such) barriers are as houses built on sand, unstable or shaky.

Yes, Babylon has fallen in the land, that system of tyranny & control, through its established freemasonry, occultic seat has fallen. That system of prideful affront through its laws and acts against the Most High God.

Proclaim it! Declare it!

I see before the great army of warriors/intercessors, the Lion of the tribe of Judah! The righteous branch, the Lord our righteousness, mighty to save.
What do I see? A long pipe, a sewage pipe it looks like, and out gushes as a torrent of water, multitudes of people, while I hear the shout of the LORD “Let my people go!!”

Wisdom Speaks at Summer’s Berthing

Welcome Summer! Yesterday 20/06/2016 the first day of Summer, inspired this poem.

✝Wisdom Speaks at Summer’s Berthing:

Whether the sky’s face is grey and its tear drops fall daily on the earth as though in remorse,
Summer is on her berth and is here to stay her course.
It’s a season we judge not by her countenance whether bleak or gay.
Her worth is vast and more precious than meets the eye so mortal man is not fast to judge.

Listen to Wisdom speak.

Wisdom proclaims her breaking forth is as the dawning of a new day;
An era to arise and shine as the sun does beam it’s rays on a Summer’s day.
A time to wear a smile of contentment and be clad in the cloak of gladness sown in Spring from a tapestry of God’s victories in the Autumn of oppression and the Winter of discord.

Wisdom speaks of her as the season to reflect on God’s truths so as to deflect from falsehood, discard the unproductive and disregard the immotive.
By her, productive and active shall you be. Able to invest and harvest not in haste, but in God’s heartfelt rest.

Listen to Wisdom speak: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.”(1)

His speech of renewal at Summer’s berthing until she departs, is what Wisdom hears from Father in every season and sees Him doing for whatever reason.

By Our God, Our Enemies Do An About Turn!

May the LORD cause you to find favour among your enemies in Jesus name!
As in the case of Israel when God gave them favour with Rahab so that they would take Jericho, may He, at His appointed time, the crucial time of breakthrough, cause chosen enemies to change and so favour and defend you because of your TESTIMONY AS CHILDREN OF GOD!
The power of Israel’s testimony as recounted by Rahab a Canaanite harlot which motivated her to hide the two Israelites from the King of Jericho’s men searching for them to capture them:
Joshua 2:1-11
2 Then Joshua secretly sent out two spies from the Israelite camp at Acacia Grove.[a] He instructed them, “Scout out the land on the other side of the Jordan River, especially around Jericho.” So the two men set out and came to the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there that night.

2 But someone told the king of Jericho, “Some Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land.” 3 So the king of Jericho sent orders to Rahab: “Bring out the men who have come into your house, for they have come here to spy out the whole land.”

4 Rahab had hidden the two men, but she replied, “Yes, the men were here earlier, but I didn’t know where they were from. 5 They left the town at dusk, as the gates were about to close. I don’t know where they went. If you hurry, you can probably catch up with them.” 6 (Actually, she had taken them up to the roof and hidden them beneath bundles of flax she had laid out.) 7 So the king’s men went looking for the spies along the road leading to the shallow crossings of the Jordan River. And as soon as the king’s men had left, the gate of Jericho was shut.

8 Before the spies went to sleep that night, Rahab went up on the roof to talk with them. 9 “I know the Lord has given you this land,” she told them. “We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror. 10 For we have heard how the Lord made a dry path for you through the Red Sea[b] when you left Egypt. And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River, whose people you completely destroyed.11 No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the Lord your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below.(NLT).

God of Provision Cares About Your Basic Needs

money2

Are you in lack, having financial problems and debts you wish would just vanish into thin air and praying for money to rain down on you from Heaven? Do not fret for the Lord says
“Cast your cares upon me for I care for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
He is the only one who knows the depth of your deprivation in the area of your finances as well as other areas.

Stay in the place of praise and worship, focused on His Word. Worship Him with the little you have and you will see His principles work for you. What principles ? you ask. Some are

“you reap what you sow” (Gal 6:7).
“Give and it shall be given to you, …pressed down shaken together …shall men give to your bosoms.” (Luke 6:38)

Do you know someone who is in need, even more destitute than you are? Well, share what you have with them. Yes the little you have. The Widow of Zarephath was taken by surprise when the prophet Elisha came to ask her not only for a drink but also to share the little food she had reserved for herself and her son. In fact he told her to feed him before herself and her son! Remember the LORD sent Elijah to her.
The Widow was being set up for a miracle. Praise the Lord that she obeyed the word of the prophet when he said
“… thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day [that] the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.”(1 Kings 17:14KJV)

What happened? Sure enough as God is always true to His word, it is written “She, and he, and her house, did eat [many] days.16[And] the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.”(1 Kings 17:15-16 KJV)

Father, help us to be as this widow and not miss any opportunities to obey your command so that we do not miss your miraculous works or blessings that you plan to bring to pass as a result of our obedience. In Jesus name Amen.

Jesus also mentioned a widow who was poor and gave the the little she had (2 mites). He said she had given more than those who had given out of their riches because she gave out of her poverty. (Luke 21:1-4)

Friends these two women had lost their husbands, and were also very poor, you may not have much or very little in addition to other losses as well, but as a born again believer, when you give out of your poverty (the little you have) as these two widows it is great giving in the eyes of the LORD and you set yourself up for a miracle.

Also remember you are the Bride of Christ as an individual as well as part of the Body of Believers, covenanted to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. When you came to Christ, God took away your “widowhood” meaning your lack or barrenness and gave you hope and the capacity to be very productive to the glory of His Name (Is. 54:1). You are no longer as one forsaken, but His delight, one He betrothed to Himself (Is. 62:4) Oh such great love Abba Father has bestowed upon us!

Friends, the LORD is waiting to perform great financial miracles in your life, for He wants to bless us abundantly in every area. Think of how much more you could do for Him when He releases financial blessings to you. While you wait, I encourage you to live in obedience to His commands and principles.

WORD OF COUNSEL: “If you are willing & obedient, you will eat the good things of the land” (Isaiah 1:19 NIV)

DECLARATION/BLESSING: Prosperity in all areas including financial: “2Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2 KJV)

At the Altar of Sacrifice

What does living sacrificially for God really mean?

image

As believers in Jesus Christ, we have been called to not only bring ourselves to the altar of sacrifice as covenanted children of God, but also to bring all that belongs to us and all who we love to the altar of sacrifice. The term altar of sacrifice simply means committing ourselves, what is ours, people and things we love sacrificially to the LORD.

The use of the word “altar” here is in reference to Abraham and how he obeyed God by preparing to sacrifice his son Isaac at the altar as he would do a ram or a goat. It was when he was about to kill his son Isaac that God stopped him and provided a ram as a substitute.

God then said “16..Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that 17 I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants[a] beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies.18 And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed—all because you have obeyed me.” (Gen. 22:16-17NLT).

As in Abraham’s case, it is evident that it is not enough being covenanted or surrendered to God as Abraham was, He requires us to covenant or surrender all that we cherish to him.

God also led me to think further about what else constitutes a sacrificial life unto God. What came to mind is the fact that our calling is to not only love God but others sacrificially.

As much as we love God unreservedly or sacrificially and we love ourselves as a result, we are also called to love others, believers and non believers, unconditionally.

“Jesus replied, “..,You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’””Right!” Jesus told him. “Do this and you will live!” (John 10:26-28 NLT). One’s “neighbour” is either a Christian or a non Christian.

Sadly many hold back from expressing love and therefore care for others because of past experiences of being hurt or rejected when they had done so. Some leaders have also developed the erroneous mindset that the mark of a good leader is one who ensures they show their authority by not being too familiar with their subordinates.

Jesus ate at table with his disciples, washed their feet and allowed one of them John to rest on his bosom. Jesus did these things and more to demonstrate that in the Kingdom of God the mark of a great and true leader is one who is not afraid to demonstrate humility and love to those they lead.

One can give all one’s goods to the poor and manifest diligence in Godly service and have gifts of prophecy among others, but if one is not demonstrating the sacrificial God kind of love them one is actually not pleasing God. The Apostle Paul expressed it in this manner to the Corinthians

“If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.” (1 Corinth. 13:2 NLT).

Jesus who died a sacrificial death for mankind said “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13NLT).

Jesus taught as follows “…I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” (Matthew 5:44 NLT)

It is worthy to note Jesus used the word “friend” in Matthew 5:44. Indeed it is sacrificial to “lay down one’s life” for someone who is not even blood related to us and also for our enemies. It means we are willing to go the extra mile in terms of demonstrating unconditional love and kindness towards them.

Jesus was criticised by the Jewish religious leaders for keeping company with “many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners…” (Mark 2:15-16 NLT).

If we are able to love sacrificially despite being at the risk of making ourselves vulnerable and therefore open to criticism and rejection, then we are truly manifesting sacrificial behaviour for the sake of God as Christ did, hence affirming our love for God.

The Apostle John said “If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?” (1 John 4:20 NLT).

Let us always remember brethren that what constitutes genuine sacrificial living before God “at the altar of sacrifice” includes but goes beyond what we normally think of as sacrifice which is the giving of ourselves, all that belongs to us i.e. those we love, to God.

In fact the affirmation of whether we are true Children of God who please God is determined by how we relate to our fellow human beings.

Therefore Brethren, when we are committed to doing all that we desire to do as living sacrifices unto God, let us remember that God places great significance on how we conduct our interpersonal relationships on a day to day basis. May He help us in our weakness.

Poem – Altar of Sacrifice

At the altar of sacrifice
I arise from the fall,
surrendering before God,
I give Him my all.

My all is giving of my heart
and that is where I start.

My all is offering what’s so dear
’cause of reverential fear of God.

At the altar of sacrifice,
I give my all
to stand tall before the LORD.

My all is loving mankind
as I am loved by God
who is one of a kind.

My all is giving up my life for
friends and praying for my foes.

Always ready to pay a price,
I surrender all
at the Altar of Sacrifice.
