God’s indescribable love…

I don’t even know how to begin to describe what I am feeling and need to put in words. David who became king of Israel pondered about how God could be mindful of man in a universe so great & vast… (Psalm 8). God is about people, the extent of which I feel right now at 5am in the morning as I lay here.

The extent at which God loves and cares about you and me is indescribable; it has so engulfed me I feel myself welling up in tears, my throat is choked. This is why I say I don’t know where to begin.. I find it hard to describe it in words, it is an overwhelming feeling of profound love. The following are thoughts that penetrate this feeling:

If humankind would collectively spend as much time being mindful of one another as they do on climate change, animal rights or wildlife preservation Issues there would be a great change in interpersonal relationships for the better, we will see more of the God kind of love and peace that we all, even non Christians desire and seek.

If many Christians who are not doing so would refocus and reprioritise so that whatever they do is rooted in or motivated by love for God, then sermons and actions will fulfil God’s command that we love one another. Act of love towards one another and giving to the poor and needy would be effortless and the norm.
Yes a relational God has a passion for people first and foremost above all else. If people were as He is or consciously made efforts to be oh what a different world this would be!!
Thank you LORD and help us, we pray!
Chapter 8

1O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.2Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.6Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all [things] under his feet:

7All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;8The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, [and whatsoever] passeth through the paths of the seas.9O LORD our Lord, how excellent [is] thy name in all the earth!

GO FORTH, PUSH THROUGH FOR YOU HAVE ALL IT TAKES!!

(A Decree & Declaration / exhortation for you)

Father God,
With the authority invested in me through Christ Jesus, I decree and declare that your people those who are truly yours are coming out of every realm of confinement, of restriction and entering into spaciousness ” Rehoboth” you have planned for them their families, communities and nations.

It is time to push through, no holding back for you have all at your disposal “the tools”, the “know how” and anointing.

The strategies have already been planned before time, what is left is for you to ADVANCE and shake off all that is holding you back.

The keys of hades and hell, heaven and earth, the key to open a door that no man shuts you have; All the authority from Yeshua is given to you exercise it and if you trust Him, you will see prophecies come to fruition one by one and so your destiny shall unfold or continue to do so:

GO FORTH, ADVANCE IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT!!!

18He said to them, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.19Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. (Luke 10:18-19KJV)

18Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit 20 teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.(Matthew 28:18-20))

Persistent Prayer “The Lord loves it when we Knock tirelessly”

The parable of the persistent widow was given to encourage believers in Jesus to always pray and not “faint” or lose heart.

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1)

Continuing in prayer always and not losing heart while doing so is demonstrated as persistent or what I call “knocking tirelessly” prayer.

Following this verse, Jesus tells his disciples a parable about a widow who was persistent in her attempt to get what she wanted by “knocking tirelessly” at the door of a judge and she succeeded for the judge opened the door.

The petition or request is of great importance if one is willing to spend time and effort to receive a response to one’s satisfaction. There is also tremendous faith or confidence in the source from whom one expects an answer.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 John 5:14-15 KJV)

This widow in Luke 18 did not know what time the judge would open the door, but she knew that if she did not lose heart and remained steadfast and confident he would eventually open it and meet her need. The judge did open the door and only for the following reasons:

“…Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me” (Luke 18:4-5)

If he being unjust finally yielded to the widow’s request how much more would God who is a just judge not answer our prayers? Although we may not know when he will do so, if we persist in addressing the subject of our prayer request with him, reminding him about it and telling him we have faith that he will bring it to pass, He will answer it.

Someone may pose this question “God is not a God who is deaf or forgets so why persistently “knock” or address the subject again and again with Him until we receive an answer, surely it is unnecessary to do this if one has faith?”. In order to answer the question, let’s pose one first as follows: If addressing the subject of our request again and again with him is vain repetition (because he is not deaf or forgetful !) and therefore a sign of disbelief, why would this parable about the persistent widow be narrated by Jesus at all, even beginning with verse 1.
The reasons why this manner of praying is necessary are as follows:

1)Persistent prayer is also focused prayer. Prayer for a particular thing does not have to be focused or persistent in the manner this aforementioned parable describes, however the parable shows us that persistent prayer is a way of praying which is acceptable to God.

2)It pleases God that His children would pray or converse with Him however many times they desire about what they want or need. He is a Father who cares about His children and wants a continuous relationship which involves communication. A loving Father does not care how often a child asks for something; in fact it enables Father to know how much the child really wants that thing or values it. As only a loving wise Father can, he will grant the request at the right time and in a way which is right for the child.

Loving Christ through Obedience: what happens?

Having the constant presence, love and abundant/everlasting joy of the Lord all balls down to (or is the reward of) loving Jesus and demonstrating this love through obedience.
May God help us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
OBEDIENCE REAPS GOD’S PRESENCE/LOVE:

21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.(John 14:21,23 KJV)
OBEDIENCE REAPS GOD’S LOVE/EVERLASTING & ABUNDANT JOY:

10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.(John 15:10-11)

THREE MONTHS TO THE NEW YEAR – THE LORD’S WORD & PROMISE TO HIS “FRIENDS

Prophetic encouragement/counsel:
This month of October until December begins the winding down of 2016, as it were the shutting of the door to 2016 and an entry into the door of 2017. Be reminded that It is The Lord God who closes doors and sets an open door before you that no man can shut, so this entry in 2017 is His open door or new season through which if only you will seek & trust Him will lead you into His divine purposes.
These next three months are therefore a time to take stock of this year and be sensitive to what He is saying you must do in these final months which if heeded to will affect events positively in 2017, for while The Lord can do it without you, He chooses for you to partner with Him as a God of relationship. God is always calling us higher, to places of greater intimacy and depth in Him (Rev 4:1) and has told us to call on Him (Jer 33:3). Our being called by Him and being asked to call on Him is so that God, a God of communication and love will show us mysteries/things we do not know for He wants us to know the signs of the times and things that He plans to do.
God called Abraham His friend and so decided to tell Him in advance when He was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. It is just as well because Abraham could intercede for Lot. This shows the importance of those who are friends of God hearing from him for someone’s life including their own could be saved because He trusts them enough to share what is on His heart with them.
Christ Yeshua said to his disciples then and is saying to those who are now:
“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” (John 15:15 KJV). Thus those who qualify to be friends of The Lord are the obedient ones as Abraham was and are rewarded with the gift of revelation or knowing his secrets/mysteries.

It is therefore not too early for you, a “friend” of The Lord to start thanking Him for what He has done and is about to do nor seek The Lord in prayer for revelation and His wisdom concerning 2017 in relation to your plans whether they are in alignment with His for you or what He wants to share with you I.e world, family or individual issues ahead as well as insight into the enemies strategies.
Those who delight in The Lord will have the desires of their heart. May He grant you all your desires according to His perfect will. Have a blessed week ahead

A Prayer & Blessing: THE FIRE OF THE LORD TO CONSUME, JUDGE AND EMPOWER.

My prayer is that the Most High God, Adonai who is a consuming fire (Deut 9:3) will destroy all your enemies as He did for Israel in biblical times. May God’s tongue be as a devouring fire (Isaiah 30:27) to judge those who persecute and afflict you.
May God set you aflame by the fire of the Holy Ghost and may His Word be as a burning fire shut up in your bones (Jeremiah 20:9) so that you are a danger to the powers of darkness.

Demons will scream “……… is coming” (fill space with your name) and flee in all directions as you advance fully armed in His awesome power and glory.

If His Spirit like fire is as a hedge all around you and the armies of Yahweh Sabaoth (the Lord of the angelic hosts of Heaven) are fighting for you, who can withstand you?

“Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29)
