Prophetic Poem of Hope & Salvation “..Them also I must bring…”

Masters of humanism, heralds of atheism self appraise on their mission to take dominion, slander and debase Christ’s glorious kingdom.
A holy indignation wells up inside my entrails, not at such as these but at the architect of man’s disconnect from his maker, the foreman of deceit.

Their maker with His grief filled face wails and calls out to His beloved creation descending in the abyss of deception.

Intercessors have no recess and their warfare is tireless as they see men appearing to advance in self actualisation, but in reality are retreating in the sink hole of self destruction.

Vivid images make them wail the more, these are of men with their conscience seared, their heads bowed sniffing for something, what may I ask? Anything to disprove there is a God, a logic they call wise with acts of stupidity deemed smart.
Haunted by images before their eyes of men focused on living for the here and now, excited to be leaders in the row about the deity while denying the importance of sanctity.
Seated in heavenly places they cry out to God for those on a quest to save self, thrive by their own “inner light” and some gurus sagacious might.
The Saviour, Light of the world is on a mission with his prayer warriors in tow, visionaries full of the Spirit’s flow to bring back the captives for he promised:
“…other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” (John 10:16 KJV)

Can You Imagine? (Poem)

A Poetic Reflection & Call to Intercession
img_0004
Introduction: As we go about our day in the peace and comfort of our lives, let us spare a thought and intercede for those who
– are in war torn areas,
– are displaced from their homes and separated from their families because of no fault of their own.
– have lost loved ones through war
and devastation and are victims of rape and oppression, solely because they happen to be born among a certain community or in a certain nation. Even if you can only imagine as it is not your reality, that in itself is good if it compels you to cry out to God on their behalf. One person lifting up their voice and weeping before the Father for the sake of the suffering makes a difference to lives because this is the will of God.He is a prayer answering God.

This poem was inspired by the sight (on the News) of the 5 year old boy Omran covered in mud and blood seated in an ambulance after being rescued from a building that exploded due to an airstrike in war torn Aleppo, Syria.
Can you imagine?
Life in a place of devastation,
bombs flying hither and tither.
Your emotions shattered to smithereens,
as the buildings and lives around
you and knocked down trees.

Can you imagine?
Whole families disappearing
’cause of bombing and the
hurling of grenades,
either by death or fleeing homes
in areas declared eery war zones.

Can you imagine?
Babes, new born and as young
as five covered in mud,
blood and the wrappings of death,
either for burial or to live as zombies,
along walking dead paths.

Can you imagine?
Adults wailing, children
screaming, dogs whimpering.
The earth shaking at the
weight of multitudes fleeing.
The sounds of glass shattering
and buildings exploding.
The sight of bodies assaulted
and raped lying lifeless on
concrete spattered streets.

Can you imagine?
The silence of a ghost town
that once was filled with
laughter ’cause of the circus clown,
and people striding at ease
along its well paved streets.
With children playing and
lovers strolling.

Can you imagine?
Some can only imagine,
what is another’s reality;
A reality of life torn to shreds
trampled underfoot and
devastated by war and threats.

I can only imagine.

Man & Woman of Faith, Though it May Tarry, Wait For It!

push-or-pull-vision

In likeness to Abraham of Old Testament times, you are a man or woman of faith who believes in a God you cannot see. In this new covenant era, you believe in God through Christ Jesus. You are not perfect by any means, but you have surrendered your life wholeheartedly to God at the altar of sacrifice; in the place of prayer and daily worship or devotion.

You live in obedience to Romans 12:1-2:
“1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (KJV).

Like Abraham, you have not just presented yourself to God wholeheartedly but everything you own and those you love, your “Isaacs” as it were.
In this place you have faith that God will fulfill all His promises to you and your family including your children’s children. This faith that you have is the same faith that Abraham had in God and is only possible because of your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
“13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. ” (Gal 3:13-14 KJV)
“29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Gal 3:29 KJV).

When we study the life of the patriarchs of Israel, Abraham Isaac and Jacob, there was a similar pattern in that testing and waiting on God for his promises took what is humanly perceived to be a long time.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Gen. 12:2 KJV).

Abraham and Sarah waited for years before they conceived the child of promise, Isaac. Abraham was 75 years old when God promised him that He would be the father of many nations, then fifteen years later, at the age of 90 God renewed his promise. When he was 100 years, they finally conceived Isaac. This is a total of 25 years for God’s promise to be made manifest (Genesis 12, 15-17). Isaac was the son through whom the promise of the nation of Israel would be born and through Israel (the tribe of Judah, one of the 12 sons of Jacob who together are the nation of Israel) Jesus Christ the incarnate Christ who is God in human form, would be born as the Saviour of the world, to reconcile man to God (2 Corinthian 5:19/John 3:16).

Waiting for a long time to give birth to twins, one of whom would have God’s covenant promise to Abraham, the blessings of the first born, was Isaac and his wife Rebecca’s fate. It was only in the 20th year of their marriage that they conceived their twins. Jacob had to labour for seven years for Rachel’s father before he could get married, not to the love of his life Rachel, but her sister as their father had deceived him. He obediently worked for her father for another seven years before he would allow Jacob to wed Rachel. Despite it taking 14 years before he married Rachel, his choice of a bride, it is just as well Jacob persevered, otherwise there would not have been 12 tribes! The “four square” prophetic number chosen by God to represent God’s people. If you are a child of God, know that nothing you do with the conviction that God is the source is in vain.
faith
Even waiting on God for children (Abraham and Isaac) and wives (Jacob) were in themselves tests because of the length of time it took. God was testing them as follows: Will they wait on God and not attempt to bring what God has promised to pass prematurely? In Abraham and Sarah’s case, they were impatient and Sarah gave her maid Hagar to Abraham so as to conceive a child with him. Abraham agreed and Ishmael was conceived (Gen.16).

If we take matters into our own hands and scheme something that looks like what God promised us, God will not accept that thing as a replacement of His promise. This is because the product of our works birthed out of our impatience with God is a mere counterfeit of the real and will cause problems. They are a means for Satan to afflict, accuse or condemn us. When Hagar was pregnant with Ishmael, Sarah had no peace and she was jealous of Hagar and complained of her to Abraham and sent her away. Hagar returned only to be sent away again after Ishmael’s birth.

Anything that is not birthed by God is contrary to God and His plans for us. Praise be to God that despite their disobedience, God brought to pass his promise of a son, Isaac to Abraham and Sarah. This promise was upheld because Abraham to whom God spoke this promise to first, as we ascertain from scripture believed God. God caused him to visualise his descendants as being as the sand on the seashore and stars in the sky (Gen 22:17). Sarah was the one who activated her doubt not only by laughter but when she was told but by offering Hagar to have a child with Abraham.

Brethren do not allow anyone to talk you out of what God has promised you by way of a prophetic promise or a vision or revelatory dream. If you believe what God is saying to you, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and refuse to do anything that will bring you heartache in the process and interfere negatively with the outworking of the promises of God in your life.
We must refuse destruction or enticement by those who offer alternative schemes or plans however well meaning they may be as we wait on God for what He has for us. Even those who are close to us can be instruments of the enemy to attempt to abort our God given vision.

Brethren, an “Ishmael” may happen along the way, or we may gain a “Leah” due to being deceived or through our own character weaknesses, but as long as we remain steadfast and dependant on God however long it takes, we will attain the promises of God, not partially but completely for God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph3:20 KJV).
God says of His word “it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV).
Let us always remember that “…the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV).

Rejoice!

This is a message for someone (I can personally attest to!):

When the devil uses people to constantly lie about you and afflict you, rather than mop around with your head in your hands saying “oh poor me what is wrong with me”, rejoice! for as a born again believer God is at work in your life regardless of the circumstances, the battle is raging and God is declaring victories on your behalf. He is about to take you to the next level of His blessedness and do great things in your life. The joy of the Lord is your strength! Can I get an Amen?!

“12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy [are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” 1 Peter 4:12-14

🗣PLAIN SPEAKING & COUNSEL II: The question of friendships; Acquaintance, close/inner circle friend or none of the above!

image4

While we are called to love one another even those who persecute us because they too are God’s creation who He loves, not everyone is meant to be your close friend. While Jesus had many acquaintances he only had a few close friends. We note how he sent out 70 disciples to minister and had 12 disciples who walked closely with him, even among the 12 there were 3 who stand out as exceptionally close to him within his inner circle namely Peter, James and John.

Thus it is worth noting that our Messiah had different levels of friendships. As we live consecrated lives unto The Lord, the urgent, persistence call is to “depart! depart! from uncleanliness, you who carry “holy vessels” of the Lord ( Isaiah 52:10-12). To put this into action there are many things one is inclined to do which are a result of obeying the commandments of the LORD. Those that we allow in our inner circle of friends whether we are leaders or congregation members could be helpers in our holy walk or distractors and at times we only realise when it is too late. But there is hope, we serve a God of second chances who teaches us to learn from our adverse experiences.

If we are not doing so, we need to pray and ask Father who should be among our close circle of friends. If you have suspicions or discomfort about specific people, do not ignore them as this could be a nudge for you to be careful or start paying attention to what The Lord is trying to tell you. In fact get on your knees daily until you get your answer. Some people may want to be your close friend but are they sent by the LORD? Are they meant to be at the acquaintance level, rather than inner circle level or kept at a distance for reasons you don’t need to blurt out but highlighted by Holy Spirit enough times for you to take a serious stand.

As well as praying about specific situations, praying for the gift of discerning of spirits or a greater measure of it is important for we do not fight flesh or blood, but satanic principalities and powers.

In these last days, we must guard our hearts seriously and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is not about being fearful of people but walking in wisdom for there are wolves in sheep’s clothing, satan as a roaring devouring lion counterfeiting Jesus the redeeming Lion of Judah.

Also it is exhausting and an unproductive use of your time (it is set for God’s purposes, remember) to be here, there and everywhere being with people who may not be sent by the LORD and going places under their influence where God may not have sent you.

Prayer:
Father I commit all our friendships into your hands. You know us, who we are and our purpose in this world. Father I pray that you will minister to each and every one of us and give us wisdom and discernment in how to conduct our interpersonal relationships so that whatever we do with whoever we are with is your will and gives glory to your kingdom,  in Jesus’ name Amen.

You are blessed, determine to stay blessed.

🗣PLAIN SPEAKING & COUNSEL SERIES:

Part 1 The Question of failures/affliction – is it always the fault of the devil, me or both?
What we reap out of life as children of God is determined by our heart condition before God, and how we relate to people.

“37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”(Matt.22:37-40).

If there is always a cycle of failure or defeat in certain areas, let us not suddenly or immediately blame the devil (He gets too much credit) or have a “pity party” let us re-examine our hearts before God HONESTLY!!

If we have done all that we have to do and discern from God it is indeed the devil at work, then let’s rise up in prayer or spiritual warfare against his evil schemes. We must believe that we have overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony as children of God (Rev 12:11). We are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).

In addition, if we refuse to live in denial, blaming everyone else including the devil and rather humble ourselves and self examine, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict us, we may also realise that we have had a part to play in what is happening.

There could be unrepented sin against God and/or man. If we repent (1 John 1:9) and determine to change our ways (perhaps there is something we need to do -an action, let’s do it in obedience to God) with the help of the Holy Spirit we are sure to see circumstances change to the glory of God in those areas of our lives we have been experiencing defeat or affliction.
Indeed God needs our cooperation to “iron out the creases”, end the cycle of defeat and fulfil His will in our lives. Let us partner with Him wholeheartedly.

You are blessed, determine to stay blessed!
