Note: This is in soon to be published book: Gloom, Hope & Glory: A Collection of Spoken Word Prose & Poetry about Humanity, Everyday Life & World Affairs (1984-2017) This book is long overdue and means a lot to me as it has poems that showed my outlook on life in my late teens and early twenties and a few speak of personal things that were happening even before I became a born again Christian (I was saved in 1988).

Biblia Poesy SocialCare:A Creative Literary Social Action initiative
ATTENTION A NEW INTERNATIONAL CHARITY – ARE YOU INTERESTED OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO MIGHT BE? WE ASK FOR YOUR PRAYERS.
Biblia Poesy SocialCare
A Creative Literary Social Action initiative (Not for Profit Charity) mobilising the Body of Christ to encourage and teach hearts one nation at a time ((Matt24:14/28:19-20)
Subsidiary of Bearwitness-Forerunner Ministries Int.
1.Vision Statement:
We aim to use scripturally inspired and formulated Spoken Word Prose/Poetry to exhort, evangelise or engage in community outreach in personal homes, residential care homes, youth/learning disability Homes/Centres, Prisons and Home/cell groups for the purpose of spreading the gospel, encouraging & strengthening the faith of believers and bringing healing & deliverance to multitudes.
2.Background
In May this year, the LORD put on my heart to get my poetry books Our God Reigns- Inspirational Prophetic Christian Poetry Volume 1 & 2 (Volume 3 is underway) into Residential Homes for the elderly.
There is a niche among the aforementioned; This is a creative way to evangelise or share the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
I later felt led to include Youth/Learning difficulties Recreational Centres, Church cell or home groups and Prison ministries as well.
Link to my poetry books on Amazon (Amazon allows you to see table of contents and a couple of pages as well) Click here
The books are sent free to those who want to partake of this charity, the link is just to show you what they look like.
When I had this idea, I felt that I was to start this initiative and then encourage other believers in Christ to do the same. I have been praying and getting ready to start contacting places with this Ministry project, however my first chance basically fell on my lap!
At church during a bible study last week in which we were asked to think of ways to reach others for Christ, a lady who works in a residential care home for the elderly encouraged anyone to come and meet with the residents for a chat and that many are lonely and would welcome visitors or people to chat with.
I spoke to her afterwards about what I feel led to do and she thought it was a great idea. She gave me her details & the address of the care home.
3.How exactly can the poetry books “Our God Reigns” be used for evangelism, outreach or encouragement?
My poetry in these books covers a variety of topics, some are straight forward evangelistic, others express the nature and might of God/Jesus Christ giving thanks and glory to him for all things.
Others are an expression of the believers hope in,love for, dependence on,expectations of (etc) God and Christ.
I believe each poem is inspired by God. The poems are written with scriptures in mind and some are formulated from specific scriptures. At times there are bible quotes within the poems. 99% have scriptural references at the end of the poems.
The person who decides to use a poem can do any of the following:
-simply read the poem out (or perform it – some are spoken word /story telling prose) and welcome comments and questions.
-start of or end with reading of the scriptures referenced within or under the poem in question before reading it.
-do the aforementioned but also prepare a short exhortation or teaching around the subject of the poem.
-before starting of course one has to pray and also ask the LORD to use them to ask questions or say things related to the poems or the poems themselves would result in discussions intended to plant redemptive seeds, cause people to make a decision for Christ or rededicated their lives to Christ.
My hope is that the person will use this as an opportunity to also ask if anyone wants prayer or would like to attend a Church if these readings are outside the church setting e.g. Residential Homes & Youth Homes/Centres.
A list of local churches that one has researched should be on hand and one or two suggested if the answer is yes.
4.Who can get a free copy?
Anyone who agrees to pursue a similar Ministry in Residential Care Homes or Youth/Learning Disabilities Recreational Centres, Prison ministries or use it for their cell or home groups will get a free copy of one of my poetry books to start with.
When in future I have connected with management in centres who would welcome such a Ministry, I will also let those who connect with Biblia Poesy SocialCare know of them. My vision is to have a database of such centres.
They will decide which one of the volumes they will start with first by having a look at the table of contents which I can email or forward via Facebook. I can also meet with them to show them the books if possible.
Any one from any nation can request for a free book (or more) by sending
-Name:
-Address:
-email:
-Tel no.
-Explain how you intend to use the Poetry book “Our God Reigns” to be a blessing in your community or through a Ministry at your church:
How many copies are needed (note the Volume 1 or 2):

5.What is the Author’s request?
The author requests for quarterly reports as to how those who have copies of her books are getting on in terms of pursuing the vision statement (point 1) or goals of this Social Action for the glory of God.
The reporting is informal and can be verbal, by email or handwritten.
A willingness to pray with others doing the same thing locally or through a conference call across nations would be great.
6. Can anyone give a donation?
As this is a Not for Profit charity, we welcome donations which includes postage costs.
Please contact me personally if you would like to donate. We will supply account details on our website.
We ask for your prayers as we take this Ministry forward, trusting God that He will fulfil this mission as He birthed it.
This is part of us doing our part in spreading the Word of God in all the earth before the end of the age so that as many people would hear it, make a decision for Christ or be strengthen in their faith.
God bless you Deborah E. Nyamekye

Wisdom Speaks at Summer’s Berthing (Poem)
Whether the sky’s face is grey and its tear drops fall daily on the earth as though in remorse, Summer is on her berth and is here to stay her course.
It’s a season we judge not by her countenance whether bleak or gay. Her worth is vast and more precious than meets the eye so mortal man is not fast to judge.
Listen to Wisdom speak.
Wisdom proclaims her breaking forth is as the dawning of a new day; An era to arise and shine as the sun does beam it’s rays on a Summer’s day.
A time to wear a smile of contentment and be clad in the cloak of gladness sown in Spring from a tapestry of God’s victories in the Autumn of oppression and the Winter of discord.
Wisdom speaks of her as the season to reflect on God’s truths so as to deflect from falsehood, discard the unproductive and disregard the immotive.
By her, productive and active shall you be. Able to invest and harvest not in haste, but in God’s heartfelt rest.
Listen to Wisdom speak: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.”(1)
His speech of renewal at Summer’s berthing until she departs, is what Wisdom hears from Father in every season and sees Him doing for whatever reason.

A poem in Book: Our God Reigns: Inspirational Prophetic Christian Poetry
Assurance on a Summer’s Day
(Pictures of Grenfelll Tower (burning) London, terrorist attacks in Manchester, Westminster,London Bridge and Borough Market)
With tears streaming down our faces we say “how much more tragedy can we bare?”
“How many more shall come our way?”
We have seen human carnage in succession, our trauma deepens day by day as a sore that cannot heal.
Walking the streets, fulfilling our mission, we are targets for a terrorist’s ambition in what he calls his religious tradition.
Who can we trust?
Our burnt tower stands as a stark monument to inequality and a mark of injustice.
Burnt ’cause authority heads deemed trustworthy ignored poor residents complaints of safety hazards in their stead.
Their voices treated as mere clanging cymbals until now when there are injured and some are dead.
Where can we turn!
Even homes we call safe go up in flames faster than lightening strikes.
When? we cannot even tell. It is what the vulnerable calls frightening.
Beyond our British Isles our wails can be heard, but can escape come from yonder if not from within ?
Our hearts are broken daily, the shattering sound and scattered pieces spell tragedy.
Across the seas our tears are seen, but even if they turn to blood what can the foreigner do, if no help is found in our land ?
There is only one we can trust, who hears and sees. He is “our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (1). Futile is life without Him.
One who saves and raises His voice saying “enough is enough”. One who can melt hearts of steel and open blind eyes to fight for our cause.
It is to Adonai we yield, to God we kneel and by His Spirit, we raise our voice and wail.He is our only hope and salvation.

Quote (1) Psalm 46:1
Psalm 85:7-9
7Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
8I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land;
Father, let it no longer be said…
Father, let it no longer be said “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.(1)”
Let them of every race and nation be gathered in for your set time is now!
Heaven rejoices when lives put to the test, pass and invest time to labour for the ingathering of many a neighbour.
Father, let it no longer be said “The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people…Behold, I [am] a dry tree.”(2)
Let them of every race and nation hear your voice and break forth into rhapsodies of praise!
For the Jew and Gentile together are one in Christ and never “a dry tree” but a “well watered garden” drinking from the well of salvation. Out of their bellies flow rivers of living waters for the healing of many a nation.

Quotes (1): Jeremiah 8:20 (2)Isaiah 56:3 Scriptural Ref. Isaiah 58:11, John 7:37-39
Precious One of El Shaddai! (Exhortation)
Let us be reminded that every word or phrase written in the bible has either a redemptive or blessed (or both) relevance to our lives. God’s Word has prophetic significance and never returns void.
The breastplate worn by the High Priests of Israel had the names of the twelve tribes of Israel written on each of the twelve precious stones. This is how precious each of the twelve tribes are to Elohim God.
Similarly this is a revelation that the name of every child of God who is heir to the promises of the house of Israel through Christ Yeshua (the once and for all sacrificial Lamb and High Priest) is known and precious to Elohim God.
Scripture says we are treasures in earthen vessels (2 Corinth 4:7). Elohim God’s people are a crown of glory and a royal diadem in His hand (Isaiah 62).
El Shaddai, one of the names of God means that He is our sufficiency but is also expressed as “the many breasted God”. As a mother He nurtures those who are close to his heart because they are His children.
As precious ones to God, we are as it were grafted onto His chest or heart. He cares about that which concerns us and works to perfect it (Psalm 138:8).
Being precious to God is being fabulous in God’s sight! What more can I say?

Happiness is knowing God Brings Peace
(Happiness is knowing series)
Happiness is indeed knowing that God brings peace. Receive God’s Peace like a River in and through you!
I pray for God’s peace to flow in a never ending manner like a river that forms tributaries into the recesses of your soul (mind, intellect and emotions) so that you would experience a perpetual Sabbath rest of the LORD.
In this place, you will receive revelation from the LORD directly and through His Word so that out of you shall flow rivers of living waters quenching the spiritual thirst of dry souls and hearts making a people ready for the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
There is no peace like God’s peace. Attempts at world peace without God as the source is just a charade and superficial for sooner or later confusion and chaos sets in. This is why Jesus explicitly distinguished his peace from that of the world when he said such comforting words
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27KJV)
As a believer in Christ you have His mind which means your mind or thoughts are focused on God. You therefore have access to God’s peace (Is.26:3) which is perfect.
God speaks His peace in every situation of your life, however He requires that you do not “again turn to folly” (Ps 85:8).
To live a life in God’s perpetual peace, He wants you to know that you need to be determined to overcome anxiety. How? Prayer to God concerning all things (Phil 4:6), while praying be thankful of what you have already received from Him.
If you can’t think of anything in a moment how about your life? Your caring child, spouse, family or your job ? Also trust Him once you have prayed. It is only after you have done this that
“…the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”(Phil 4:7)
God of Peace be with you!
✝ Poem – Receive the Master’s Peace
Be anxious for nought and pray for what you ought. God’s peace will unfold as a treat,if a slave to worry you are not.
Peace like a barging river, shall knock down fortes of
deceit in your heart to cause the enemy to retreat.
Peace like a fighter plane shall land on the combat fields of your soul to dethrone the Prince of this World, end the cycle of disorder to commence divine order.
A peace foreign to this world in chaos because it knows not it’s Master and his ethos.
Who is it’s Master?
He is the Prince of Peace who saith to his own “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you”.
On a mount he sat and taught
“blessed are the peacemakers they shall be called children of God” So be blessed, not stressed.
Do not retaliate but demonstrate his love to haters.
Trade anger with prayer for users and live to unite dividers. With your mates create colonies in a bond of peace and be the harmonies to iron out melodious creases.
Blessed vessel of peace, wrestle for the increase of God’s government and peace to have no end.
(Isaiah 9:6-7, Phil 4:6-7 Matt.5:43-48, John 14:27)
