God at the Steering Wheel
Are you expecting something to happen or a change to take place in your life, your circumstances or a situation ?
The first thing to wait for or to listen out for is the Word of God.
In creation when there was a void, God said “Let there be” and there was.
“…1And it came to pass
[after] many days, that the word of the LORD came to
Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab;
and I will send rain upon the earth.
2And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab…” (1 Kings 18:1-2).
The Word of God is the Word of truth, that affirms His will, it stirs up faith and creates an atmosphere of expectation to believe and wait on God for what He has promised.
The Word of the LORD came to Elijah as it is written in 1 Kings 18:1-2 (KJV) as follows
“…1And it came to pass
[after] many days, that the word of the LORD came to
Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab;
and I will send rain upon the earth.
2And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab…”.
In order for a change in our circumstances from “famine” to abundant “rain” of blessings or from chaos to order, let us use the following “ignition keys” (yes, simultaneously!) that allows the Word of God to come to us daily:
– Bible reading and meditation, for He is faithful to give us personal (Rhema) words through the written word.
– prayer and praise while waiting to hear from the Most High God in our hearts for He delights to speak to us.
In this way, we can guarantee that Yahweh is at work with and through us victoriously for He desires to be at the “Steering Wheel” of our destinies.

His Promises, His Words
Sarah was promised a babe by God
in her old age but laughed in disbelief.
Without a promise uttered by God,
Hannah wept until she conceived,
much to her relief.
Promises in His Word God gives,
available for those ready to receive.
Prophetic Words, the Almighty gives,
even to the dismissive.
So be it barrenness in the womb
or in life’s pursuits, stand on
Yahweh’s Words of Truth and
He will never deny nor refuse.
