The Bride’s Song – My Beloved & I
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”
His only begotten Son He sent to prove His love for me.
A Son so compassionate, he took my place on a tree,
With nail pierced limbs and blood drenched scars,
He gave up the ghost.
I was with him in betrayal, mockery and shame.
One with him in the grave, released by his power
free to escape on his train.
I am with him in liberty.
One with him in glory,
with the keys of heaven and earth,
forever to conquer and reign.
Free from shackles of sin,
with a signet ring betrothed to my redeemer groom,
forever to sing:
“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”
(The Gospels, Is.53, Song of Songs 6:3)
