Happiness is Knowing… Almighty God Brings Peace

Microsoft Bing Pic

Happiness is indeed knowing that God brings peace. Receive God’s Peace like a River in and through you!

I pray for God’s peace to flow in a never ending manner like a river that forms tributaries into the recesses of your soul (mind, intellect and emotions) so that you would experience a perpetual Sabbath rest of the LORD.

In this place, you will receive revelation from the LORD directly and through His Word so that out of you shall flow rivers of living waters quenching the spiritual thirst of dry souls and hearts making a people ready for the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

There is no peace like God’s peace. Attempts at world peace without God as the source is just a charade and superficial for sooner or later confusion and chaos sets in. This is why Jesus explicitly distinguished his peace from that of the world when he said such comforting words

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27KJV)

As a believer in Christ you have His mind which means your mind or thoughts are focused on God. You therefore have access to God’s peace (Is.26:3) which is perfect.

God speaks His peace in every situation of your life, however He requires that you do not “again turn to folly” (Ps 85:8).

To live a life in God’s perpetual peace, He wants you to know that you need to be determined to overcome anxiety. How? Prayer to God concerning all things (Phil 4:6), while praying be thankful of what you have already received from Him.

If you can’t think of anything in a moment how about your life? Your caring child, spouse, family or your job ? Also trust Him once you have prayed. It is only after you have done this that

“…the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”(Phil 4:7)

God of Peace be with you!

POEM: RECEIVE THE MASTER’S PEACE

Be anxious for nought and pray for what you ought. God’s peace will unfold as a treat, if a slave to worry you are not.
Peace like a barging river, shall knock down fortes of deceit in your heart to cause the enemy to retreat.
Peace like a fighter plane shall land on the combat fields of your soul to dethrone the Prince of this World, end the cycle of disorder to commence divine order.
A peace foreign to this world in chaos because it knows not it’s Master and his ethos.

Who is it’s Master?
He is the Prince of Peace who saith to his own “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you”.
On a mount he sat and taught
“blessed are the peacemakers they shall be called children of God” So be blessed, not stressed.
Do not retaliate but demonstrate his love to haters.
Trade anger with prayer for users and live to unite dividers. With your mates create colonies in a bond of peace and be the harmonies to iron out melodious creases.
Blessed vessel of peace, wrestle for the increase of God’s government and peace to have no end.

(Isaiah 9:6-7, Phil 4:6-7 Matt.5:43-48, John 14:27)

Today’s Verse: Galatians 6:7 & Exhortation

Brethren let us always remember that we reap what we sow and while stopping to think about the consequences of our actions is not often easy or should I say automatic, it is necessary. Necessary, because it can save as so much pain or turmoil.

It will also save us unnecessary time wastage.I have had my struggles in this area and learnt from many mistakes and some of you can relate. God is faithful and knows our hearts are often in the right place, desiring to reap for Him what He has sown in and through us.

I can testify that when I have been obedient to God’s Word such as forgiven and prayed for those who hurt or afflict me and put others first I have reaped natural and spiritual blessings.I can also testify that He has come through for me many times and outworked all things for my good (Romans 8:38), when things could have gone from bad to worse. Think about your past and present state, what can you testify about the goodness of God especially when you have sown what pleases Him?

I agree that we don’t always know what blessings are rewards for what we have done, but sometimes we can discern outcomes that are tied to our acts of kindness or obedience to God’s Word.

We have a God who is patient with us and will help us in our weakness when we call on Him. Praise Him!! Blessings to you & yours

My Restorer, Giver of Fortitude

My Restorer, giver of fortitude, to you I sing this song of gratitude
As an object I was discarded, still I aligned with them though dejected.

Then you came along and composed for me a new song. Love-filled lyrics sweet to my ears awakened my soul, ’til then among the lifeless throng.

My Restorer, giver of fortitude, to you I sing this song of gratitude.
You unlocked the truth of my worth and sang oracles to reveal the miracle of my birth.

With thanksgiving I eat of your goodness and drink from your fountains of joy. With gladness I enter your gates of renewal, far away from the dungeons of those that destroy.

My Restorer, giver of fortitude, to you I sing this song of gratitude.

Thank You Yeshua!

Thank you that you are my resurrection and life, Yeshua.

Thank you that you died and rose again that I might have abundant and eternal life.

Thank you for your broken body and shed blood because you live, I live forever more.

Thank you that you put the fact that you are God aside and came as sinful man though without sin, so that through death, you would destroy him who has the power of death, the devil and release those who are subject to the devil through infirmity and affliction.

Thank you for being a “merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people”

Thank you, Yeshua!

Holy Spirit flow – Pentecost

Holy Spirit flow
as on the day of

Pentecost.

Flow as a Tsunami

and do something

new inside me.
I receive the promise of

Pentecost, to be God’s

vessel not counting

the cost.

Ready I am to pay

the price as one ablaze

with God’s Spirit burning

the dross and bringing

multitudes to

the cross.
Spirit break out,

Spirit break forth

and flow over me

ankle, knee, waist

deep until I am

drenched in

your presence,

abundant life of God

to reap.

Come Holy Spirit,

Come with power

as on the day of Pentecost!

Acts 2:1-21 KJV:

1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.

16But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

21And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

11th Feb. 2017 Seminar in London – In Full Bloom Motivational Exercise: Purpose & testimonials

What is this exercise about & its purpose?
It’s worth is confirmed by testimonials (see towards the end)

It will be used at ARISE & SHINE Prophetic Seminar on 11th Feb. 2017 at 9-1.30pm, City Temple Church, London Holborn Viaduct EC1A 2DE not to be missed!!

A seminar combining prophecy, teaching & motivational training. Produced by God given inspiration by Prophetess & teacher Deborah Nyamekye the exercise was tried and tested successfully at the seminar entitled “Rise-up! Thou Anointed & Favoured of God” on 2nd July. Blessed Testimonials can be read below and also found on home page of website http://www.bearwitness-forerunner.org.

Deborah, Seminar host says ”

“This God inspired exercise I produced is a powerful inspirational prophetic tool to enable a pair to help each other effectively match their gifts, talents and skills with the most appropriate or suitable career, church ministry or volunteer work pathways for them. Individuals are awakened to the fullness of their God given capabilities as never before and are encouraged to pursue goals that encourage them to utilise their capabilities to the maximum.

Each person is encouraged through the exercise to use their gifts of discernment/intuition, wisdom, knowledge and prophecy with the person they are paired with. They will be surprised at how God can use them for others in this type of exercise more than they ever thought. They may also discover God given gifts which have lain dormant or they did not know were there”.
Be sure to register for £20 (early bird until 25th Jan is £15) at website http://www.bearwitness-forerunner.org to secure your place at this life changing seminar.

1.WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE IN FULL BLOOM MOTIVATIONAL EXERCISE ?

The purpose is to enable individuals to
-see what they had to offer in the way of gifts, skills and talents in a more positive way (i.e their worth and relevance) than they had before the exercise.

-realise that what they had to offer (i.e. gifts, talents and skills) could be utilised in ways (possible careers, volunteer work/ministry or hobbies) they had not even thought about or had dismissed.

Thus each individual is highlighted the fact that they have within them the potential to

-be more of a blessing or to make more of a difference in the lives of others.

-make career choices that suit who they truly are or their capabilities learnt or natural gifts, talents and skills.

As one participant of the exercise on 2nd July 2016 put it “This is a framework that can help people connect their talents with their choice of career path”

– be affirmed and confident in applying for a particular job, engage in specific ministry, volunteer work or a hobby that they would have hesitated to do in the past.

-be more confident in the relevance of their current gifts, talents and skills to what they do (i.e. career, volunteer work, church ministry and hobby) and what they could do or would like to do in the future.

-be much happier, more fulfilled and better able to excel as the exercise enables them to perceive their full potential in relation to their gifts, talents and skills. In so doing they are able to confidently capitalise on their current gifts, talents and skills so as to making the right career, volunteer work, church ministry and hobby choices. They can also decide to undertake further training in areas of particular interest or strength if need be.

2.GOD GIVEN GIFTS AND ABILITIES ARE USED DURING THE COURSE OF THIS EXERCISE

In addition to ministering through prayer, each person is also encouraged through the exercise to use their gifts of discernment/ intuition, wisdom, knowledge and prophecy with the person they are paired with. The fact that it is done in pairs also enables each partner to understand that they have a God given ability to discern, utilise God given wisdom and revelation in order to “pull out” or bring to the fore potential or destiny from within someone else.

True believers in Christ are all prophetic by virtue of having the indwelling Holy Spirit. Living a Christian life in surrender to God enables the sanctifying process of the believer to take place and this means that the Christian is being refined within to the glory of God; their discerning and intuitive capabilities are becoming increasing yielded to God the Father through Christ Jesus.

As Deborah said at the end of the first gathering of Maranatha Encounters Ministry on 2nd July 2016, following the feedback from delegates (see below point 3) “When I began this exercise, I never once mentioned the word “prophetic” but listening to all your feedback with phrases that express how God has used someone who is “very sharp, very prophetic” for your sake and He has allowed you to speak “inspirationally” into the life of another. This exercise affirms and underlines the fact that everyone who is a born again Christian, a believer in Jesus and has the Spirit of God dwelling in them is “prophetic” because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of prophecy, the testimony of Jesus and knows the mind, will and wisdom of God and communicates them to us (1 Corinth. 2 and Rev 19:11). God is able to use us for the sake of one another by His Holy Spirit indwelling us.

3. FEEDBACK ABOUT THE EXERCISE FROM DELEGATES

At the end of the motivational exercise during the seminar on 2nd July 2016, some participants came forward as a pair or on their own to share what they received from it: Below is a text transcribed from a recording of what they said. Only initials of individuals are given. Their comments highlight or reinforce the fact that this exercise is God inspired and part of God’s creative ways in enabling his people to bear more and lasting fruit to the glory of His name and kingdom.

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing…You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name” (John 15:5,16NLT)

Pair 1 J.R & D.J

J.R’s Feedback – This exercise is good because it helps us to appreciate what we have and what we can impart into others. We do not see this enough in the body of Christ as we should be…we live in a time of great oppression at every angle…This type of exercise is excellent in helping us to encourage one another, to live up to those encouraging words and to give them out freely…”

D.J’s Feedback -“J.R is very sharp, is very prophetic and what she said was very encouraging. Her advice was words I had heard and received before. I feel I have received something that I can actually wage a good warfare with and take forward. I am grateful when I do receive ministry that I can grab hold of and work with. I do not get the opportunity to do so often.”

Pair 2 M.O & H.L

M.O’s Feedback – “What I found from doing this exercise was that it opens up your eyes to what you actually have [gifts, talents, skills] and how you can make use of it and if you are using it, how you can even explore it more and go higher in it because God has given us gifts and talents we can actually use not just for ourselves but to bless others in situations we find ourselves in. I found it very very useful, really a blessing. Thank you very much to the organiser.

I want to say that we are loaded, everyone here is loaded [with gifts, talents and skills] don’t let anyone tell you that you are not loaded: “You can do all things through Christ who Strengthens you” (Phil 4:13).”

H.L’s Feedback – “Thank you very much, I am quite a visual person.. Like to get engaged in something ..it works really well. When M.O and I swapped our papers it was like “wow, wow..We have all these qualities”, even that was enough for me to say that we tend to downplay what we have and what we do. [This exercise] really does give you more confidence. I hope that this exercise actually gives you more confidence in what you are doing or looking to do.
Yes it’s been an encouragement for me, and even the advise M.O gave me. I get reluctant accepting certain things from different people, but knowing that it is in a space like this and has come from M.O’s own heart and I can resonate that with what God has registered to me, he (M.O) even put scripture on it. All of that is even more helpful confirming a lot of things and giving confidence.”

E.A’s Feedback – I found the exercise really helpful. It released a lot of inspiration and was able to unlock a lot of things that have been kept buried and kept on a back burner which has been brought more to the forefront. Obviously even when we go home, we can begin to release those things to the Father and re-engage in so many areas. I really felt it really helped me to flow, to minister to our sister here inspirationally as well. I really felt it also brought a level of bonding and intimacy with people you are actually doing the exercise with.”
L.L’s Feedback – “This is an amazing tool! I do coaching and training … It really impacted me.. X (her friend) has been speaking to me about ministry and I am like no! It really made an impact on me, so I can actually go to the Father now and say “ok let’s do this, I don’t want to say I don’t want to do this because I know I can by your strength so how can I do this?” You need to go to churches with this. I am serious, also leaders in churches so they can then impart it to their churches. This is because we don’t do this in churches, we do it at work. This is a framework that can help people connect their talents with their choice of career path.”

In Obedience is Blessedness like no other

“27…a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You.”
28But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:28 Berean Study Bible)

Jesus did not say “thank you” to the woman’s open praises of his mother for giving birth to him, instead he changed the subject immediately and used the time as an opportunity to teach and counsel for the benefit of the listeners.

This is an indication that while Jesus knew his mother Mary was blessed, praises directed at him and his mother on a human level were not of importance to him. To accomplish his mission on earth was His number one priority and this was confirmed in his response when he diverted attention from himself and his mother and placed it on a person’s relationship with God. The point Jesus was making is in his manner of response which was as follows:

“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

He was saying that the reward of obedience to God is blessedness. This blessedness is of a value that far out ways the blessedness of his mother who bore him.
Brethren, in likeness to Christ, whatever we do in service to God which causes people to praise us, our mothers or families should not compel us to loose our focus on our mission or the message which is intended to bring multitudes to Christ or change lives for the glory of God. We should rather seize such opportunities as any other to glorify God in whatever manner befits the occasion as Jesus did in this account.
Poem: Obey God

Obey God

not by mere acts of motion, but out of love for Him in every situation.

Obey God

not out of trembling fear but out of reverential fear of God.

Obey God

not partially but completely, void of the force of the rod.

Obey God

so that as an overcomer from strife, He shall call you blessed and give you the crown of life.

THE 1-2-3 DOMINO EFFECT OF THE TWO GREATEST COMMANDMENTS & THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

Domino-effect

How we see ourselves, how we conduct our interpersonal relationships are fruitful unto God, only if our relationship with God is according to His commands”

36Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38This is the first and great commandment.39And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40 KJV)

THE 1-2-3 DOMINO EFFECT OF THE TWO GREATEST COMMANDMENTS

**Point 1 – Point 2 – Point 3 Domino Effect**

Let us ensure that the two greatest commandments are always at the forefront of our minds so that we

POINT 1 – Sustain a love relationship with God through a worshipful life (bible study, praise, prayer..) which includes focus on God in all that we do and do them as unto Him.

This is the only way we can

POINT 2 – Love ourselves because it is in this place that we Learn to love ourselves by understanding who we are in God and who He is to us.

As a result of Point 2 out worked from Point 1 of the 1-2-3 Domino Effect, (whatever position we hold in the Body of Christ or society – in God’s eyes a servant’s heart is the mark of an obedient heart – Jesus is our example)
We are able to

POINT 3 – Love our neighbours (anyone: friend, spouse, colleague, acquaintance etc…); this means we are able to demonstrate God’s love through us to others meaning

– we are able to have compassion for people
– empathise with them
– care about their feelings so as to be cautious how we treat them, ensuring we are not doing or saying anything to hurt them nor lording over them …
-treat others as we would like to be treated.

Prayer: Father, help us in our weakness so that we live according to these two greatest commandments. Thank you for answering this prayer in my life and that of my brethren. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray Amen

dominoTHE POWER OF FORGIVENESS
Satan exerts himself in his attempt to ruin interpersonal relationships in general and especially those between Christian friends, spouses, ministers, work colleagues and acquaintances, because he is a sly crafty, cunning fool who will do anything to attempt to bring chaos in the harmony that is the 1-2-3 Domino Effect of the Two Greatest commandments.

Let us take heed not to let the hurts inflicted upon us from childhood through to adulthood or what people are doing currently to hurt or upset us (it may not even be deliberate) prevent us from having or sustaining the peace we have in the knowledge that we are lovable or significant human beings created in the image of God and restored as such through Christ for His pleasure and purposes. The born again experience opens the door for us to be healed from lies satan has said about who we are and our worth especially through others. Our healing starts with forgiving all those who have hurt us directly or indirectly and contributed to these lies about our identity and worth.

Forgiveness by God and therefore making peace with Him is conditional to our forgiving others. This is why Jesus included these words in the prayer he taught his disciples to pray 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (Matthew 6:14-15 KJV)
There is an assumption therefore that his disciples know that they should forgive their debtors so that God will forgive them.

After this, he emphasised the point by saying:“14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6:14-15 KJV).

When we forgive, we receive forgiveness from father which means cleansing from all unrighteousness and so a way is made for us to have fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit. Unforgiveness is a decision not to demonstrate the love of God to our “neighbour” (Point 3), it is therefore disobedience and as sin, disobedience also separates us from God and so we are prevented from loving God with all our heart, mind and soul (Point 1). Without loving God, we cannot love ourselves or sustain the unconditional God kind of love (Point 2).

Forgiveness is the key to overcoming satan’s attempts at creating discord, causing contention and hatred between Christians so that they do not demonstrate the love of God for one another (Point 3 of the 1-2-3 Domino Effect). This is often because when people are hurt, they are likely to fall into temptation as they are angry, discouraged, disappointed and begin to exercise thoughts of retaliation which range from either not speaking to the one who has hurt them or doing something to hurt them as well.

The importance of forgiveness is reinforced by Jesus, expressing the heart of God on the matter when he said that
-you must forgive those who have sinned against you not 7 times but 70 x 7 times (Matthew 18:21-22); In other words forgiveness should be a perpetual lifestyle attitude of a children of God.
-when you are bringing your offering to God and you remember that someone has something against you then you must first go and reconcile with them before doing so. (Matthew 5:23-24)

God also cares about that person who has something against you whether they are Christians or not and so should you, is what Jesus is saying. Your “neighbour” (Matthew 22) is not necessarily a fellow Christian and approaching them to make peace means you desire to obey God’s command that you love your neighbour. Your neighbour could also be your enemy, in relation to this Jesus taught as follows:
You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. (Matthew 5:43-46 NLT)

It is evident therefore that the responsibility to cultivate harmonious co-existence (hence expressing the love of God) lies with the disciple of Jesus and forgiveness is the key. When used therefore, this key not only opens the door to a sustained relationship of love with God but it also serves to keep us within the realm of the 1-2-3 Domino Effect (Two Greatest Commandments) cycle all the days of our lives.
