Christ has already paid the ultimate price! We are more than conquerors through him who loves us (Romans 8:37). There is no need to despair, but to trust him!
As a believer in Christ, God says to you as He said to Israel “I have loved you with an everlasting love and with loving kindness I have drawn you to me” (Jer 31:3).
Are you going through anything now? Sometimes our afflictions seem endless, but as God spoke through the prophet Isaiah to comfort Jerusalem, his precious city, so too I bring this word of comfort to you, His precious one “your
“…warfare is accomplished,..iniquity is pardoned…Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see [it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].” (Isaiah 40:2,4,5 KJV).
Yes, the afflictions of a believer are only temporarily and God intends for His glory to be revealed in our lives, so indeed if we suffer there is an ultimate purpose for the glory of God.
When Jesus said on the CROSS “it is finished” (John 19:30) that is exactly what he meant! When he died for our sins and rose again the third day, our warfare was declared over.
We only need to take hold of this truth and keep it at the forefront of our minds. We need not fret as long as we live in obedience to God’s Word.
This is because God will always thwart the plans of the enemy, counteract the will of Satan and work all things out for our GOOD! (Psalm 33:10-12/Romans 8:28) To God be the glory great things He has done!!
Hi there, God has given born again believers the strength we need to overcome every affliction.
Firstly we are His and therefore He is our protector and sustainer and secondly because we have the indwelling Holy Spirit, who is God himself strengthening us by His power, so that we can bear every affliction until it is over.
Think of the wisdom we acquire as we stay close to God during our times of affliction. God says He will never leave us nor forsake us. Have a blessed day Deborah x
God so loved the World that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
God longs to show us His love (which brings peace) and for us to live in the realm of His love, while demonstrating His love to others as “God’s Bridge of Love”
God’s Bridge of Love:
You are a bridge of love for your neighbour to traverse and progress in my love, no more to transgress nor regress and drown in sin. Your neighbor is one who favours my conditional love or labours for artificial love.
Pour thy love upon me that my treasury shall release plenty into thy poverty, and you shall see my face unveiled, for at my gaze shall you know thy worth.
When you walk with me as my bride and talk of me with pride, as a living sacrifice, and demonstrate my love to the loveless, promote my Word to enemies and use the key of forgiveness,
Then shall I draw near to you, and shall show you forth as a shofar with the sound “GOD IS LOVE”. A passage of refuge for multitudes to know and abide in my LOVE.
Background: This prophetic poem was borne out of what happened on Wed (25th May 2016), in the morning on my way to work I had a vision of a waterfall and I had this sense that it represents a gushing down of blessings from God the Father. About two hours later a Sister in Christ sent me this picture of a waterfall via messenger, after work I felt inspired to write this poem. It is a word that is not for me alone, this is a season when the floodgates of heaven are open for a mighty outpouring of what multitudes have been seeking the LORD for. Partner with Him in obedience and faithfulness to see His will/promises come to pass.
Father send your Spirit to chase away every demonic spirit in the land. Send your power to overcome the forces of iniquity & darkness among your people.
Intervene LORD in this nation to turn the hearts of the father to the children and the hearts of the children to the father.
Come and flood this land with your Spirit! Let rivers of truth immerse your people, those you have created; redeemed and marked for redemption.
Arise Father and show your strong arm against leviathan the enemy of our souls.
March forth like the man of war that you are, Yahweh Gibbor and show your strength, O Mighty God of the Armies of Heaven, release your fury upon our enemy, break his neck, stamp on his head and release the captives from the north, south, east and west!
Demand release of those in captivity, reject the sounding trumpet calling them to join Gog and Magog, the enemy in disguise as their deliverer.
Open our eyes, mighty one of Israel! Shut the mouth of our aggressors! Destroy the weapons of destruction! Arm your people with strength, that they may match on in victory.
We are your people, tillers of your land, harvesters of souls; missionaries for your cause, light-bearers unrelenting, Ambassadors of Christ yielding and tireless to bring multitudes into your tabernacle of Praise, glorious to behold.
Not by our might we serve, but by your Spirit LORD…breath on us!
Isaiah 54:17 But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken!
As New Covenant believers, our priority is the Word of God, the only way to God is through Yeshua (Jesus) who is the Word that came to dwell among us (John chapter 1).
Indeed as a youth, Yeshua manifested the wisdom and stature of God as he discussed with the religious leaders and as we read in Luke 4:32, he astonished the hearers of His teachings. While he performed miracles, Yeshua consistently taught and he is therefore the only source of Elohim God’s truth that sets free (John 8:31-32) for his disciples.
May we live lives meditating on the Word, the scriptures that is, and the life of Yeshua himself who is the Word personified, doing our best to live as he lived in humble obedience to Father.
In addition, let us not forsake fellowship with the Spirit of God for He is God, His power that guides, guards us and reminds us of the teachings of Yeshua, our Messiah and LORD.
