Yeshua, The Servant King

Mathew 21:1-11

The Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem – Matthew 21:1-11

21 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to [a]Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose themand bring them to Me.And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

[b]All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:

“Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”

So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, [c]and set Himon them. And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of theLord!’
Hosanna in the highest!”

10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”

11 So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Thank You Yeshua!

Thank you that you are my resurrection and life, Yeshua.

Thank you that you died and rose again that I might have abundant and eternal life.

Thank you for your broken body and shed blood because you live, I live forever more.

Thank you that you put the fact that you are God aside and came as sinful man though without sin, so that through death, you would destroy him who has the power of death, the devil and release those who are subject to the devil through infirmity and affliction.

Thank you for being a “merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people”

Thank you, Yeshua!

Jesus, the Passover Lamb

At the Passover table
for the sake of his
remembrance, Jesus commanded
his disciples saying eat the bread;
“…my body which is broken for you”,
drink the wine;
“…the new testament in my blood:”

At the Passover table,
I, his disciple obey his command:
my eating of the bread, his body
is the crushing of my enemy,
my drinking of the wine, his blood
is the draining away of my sin.

In Jesus, the Passover Lamb,
I pass over from death to life
for the curse is broken,
and death is forsaken.

At the Passover table,
eating, I no more hunger for worldliness. Drinking, I no more thirst
for sinfulness. For in the Pass Over,
I have resurrection life.

25Jesus said… “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. 26Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25 WEB)

Happiness is knowing… Christ has paid the ultimate price. It is FINISHED!

Christ has already paid the ultimate price! We are more than conquerors through him who loves us (Romans 8:37). There is no need to despair, but to trust him!

As a believer in Christ, the Most High God (Yahweh) says to you as He said to Israel “I have loved you with an everlasting love and with loving kindness I have drawn you to me” (Jer 31:3). Are you going through anything now? Sometimes our afflictions seem endless, but as Yahweh spoke through the prophet Isaiah to comfort Jerusalem, his precious city, so too I bring this word of comfort to you,

His precious one your “…warfare is accomplished,..iniquity is pardoned…Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see [it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].” (Isaiah 40:2,4,5 KJV).

Yes, the afflictions of a believer are only temporarily and Almighty God intends for His glory to be revealed in our lives, so indeed if we suffer there is an ultimate purpose for the glory of God.

When Jesus said on the CROSS “it is finished” (John 19:30) that is exactly what he meant! When he died for our sins and rose again the third day, our warfare was declared over.

We only need to take hold of this truth and keep it at the forefront of our minds. We need not fret as long as we live in obedience to God’s Word. This is because God will always thwart the plans of the enemy, counteract the will of Satan and work all things out for our GOOD! (Psalm 33:10-12/Romans 8:28) To God be the glory great things He has done!!
